If you're anything like me, you have a real soft spot for animals, especially those who haven't been treated fairly. As many of you know, Jake and I are proud volunteers of a rescue called  Megan's Rescue Efforts . We have been there for over 2 years now, and we enjoy every poop covered, wagging tail, sloppy kiss minute we spend there.  Today marks the day that I finished my last assignment for my first year of college, so it was a call for celebration! I contemplated going for a small hike, or going out for a couple drinks, but then it dawned on me... it was a beautiful day, Jake and I have nothing to do, and I was sure there was at least one puppy who would love to join us on an adventure.  The text to Megan was sent, and we were on our way to pick up Mayzie!(see below) Mayzie is a 4 month old rescue from Manitoba. Thank-you for choosing to continue following my adventures!
